This bug can put your personal information at risk. Gate City Bank has verified with our Online Banking provider and they have confirmed we are not susceptible to this vulnerability.
To protect yourself, experts suggest changing passwords for the websites you use. These should include e-mail, social media, bank accounts, credit card online access, and others. Also, we suggest to change your passwords frequently, utilize strong passwords that are not easy to guess, and do not use the same password on multiple sites.
Gate City Bank will continue to monitor customer’s accounts utilizing our fraud monitoring systems.
